The 14th Street West Centre is a supportive housing development which included interior and exterior renovation of an existing 15,000 sf building for Grey County Housing. The building includes 12 supportive housing units, a residential common area, offices and meeting rooms for supportive housing programs. Units are set up as studio apartments, each with a living space, kitchenette, bathroom and laundry. Exterior renovations included window replacements for the residential units and door replacements for accessibility. The result is a centre that provides a needed service for the community, delivering stability and other services in a safe environment, so people can develop skills and access the support they need to live independently.
