Goderich, Ontario
Since 1903, Victoria Park, named for Queen Victoria who passed away in 1901, has been the site for children at play.
Working in collaboration with Vafiades Landscape Architect Inc., Allan Avis Architects carried out the design and contract administration phases for the construction of a new open air picnic shelter and seasonal use service building, containing public washrooms and service room. The in-ground swimming pool was replaced by a splash pad, to provided hours of entertainment for Goderich and area children.
