Windsor, Ontario

Located centrally on the campus of the University of Windsor, this Gothic Revival style school building was designed by renowned architect Albert Lothian and built in 1927. It was originally the Arts Building for Assumption College. Three phases of exterior stone and brick masonry restoration were executed over 4 years. Work involved the reproduction of severely eroded and missing decorative stone units, masonry repointing and cleaning, and lead-coated copper roofing at the ornate central lantern.
