In conjunction with the Canada–Ontario Community Housing Initiative, this 19,300-square-foot building was designed under the Rapid Housing Initiative to facilitate expedited construction through the use of modular building components. The two-storey apartment building comprises 20 one-bedroom units, seven of which are barrier-free, with the capacity to convert additional units to barrier-free in the future. The building was designed to exceed the National Energy Code for Buildings by 18 percent.
